Expat Talk Message Board Help

We have set up this section to aid all of our members and non members in the basic use of the message board.  While some things are obvious, some, unfortunately are not. 

One of the most frequent questions of late is "why does it say I am a turista when I live here?"  Many people have also taken offence to being listed as a resident as they do not want this information out there for the world to see.  Have no fear though.  These are member titles not actual personal status of our members.  Depending on how many posts a member makes, they have a specific title.  The breakdown is as folows:

• 1 - 100 posts = Turista
• 101 - 500 = Permesso di Soggiorno
• 501 - 1000 = Residente
• 1001+ = Cittadino

As I said, this has nothing to do with real life.  Basically, you are a tourist of Expats in Italy, you have your Permesso di Soggiorno for Expats in Italy, you are a resident of Expats in Italy or you are a citizen of Expats in Italy.

At some point in the future, these titles will have even higher levels.  If you have any thoughts on some names for above Cittadino, let us know on the forum!
